Oxford City Stars
Once again this year RJS is proud to be sponsoring the Oxford City Stars ice hockey team. This is their second season back in the National Ice Hockey League, Division One.
Formed in 1984, the Stars competed in and won the British League Division 2 (Midlands section). The following season they stepped up to the Heineken British League Division 1 but were relegated for the '87-'88 season.
Following a restructuring of the league the Stars found themselves in English Division 1 for the first couple of seasons of the 90s and then the English League Division 1 Northern Conference. The following years the Stars struggled until rebuilding and restructuring under club legend Dan Prachar in 2003 saw them start to shine once more. This culminated in promotion to National Ice Hockey League 1 following a great 2013/14 season.
The Stars have consolidated their position during the 2014/15 season and now with a number of new signings the prospects for this season look promising.
Tim Glover Racing
Born in Frimley, Surrey, Tim has been interested in motor sport from a very young age. Despite living within earshot of Camberley Kart Track a lack of finance prevented him from entering the world of racing the way most kids do. His first involvement was as a volunteer circuit marshal but he eventually took and passed the Association of Racing Drivers Schools (ARDS) test after just one drive on a race circuit.
After a fairly successful 2015 season, self-funded, Tim is looking forward to the 2016 season in a brand new car. this will enable him to progress in the the premier and most competitive class in the championship.
RJS Waste Management is proud to be supporting Tim with his ambition to complete a full season in one of the most competitive championships in UK motorsport, the 2016 Ford Fiesta Championship.
Paul’s Absolute Fitness
Paul’s Absolute Fitness was set up in 2010 by Personal trainer Paul Snowsell and has expanded rapidly over the five years. Its aim is to provide a high quality personal training and nutritional service to his clients.
Paul’s Absolute Fitness, based in Horsham West Sussex has developed a successful training method that puts the client at the heart of the journey. After recognising that clear goal setting is a key part to success and nutrition counts towards at least 60% of his clients achieving their health and fitness goals, Paul has developed the “Six Weeks Later” eating plan and recipe e-book which breaks poor eating habits and educates his client on exactly what they should be eating, which can then be developed in to a lifestyle change.
Paul has now made his knowledge accessible to all by offering his expert advice as an online package, this makes training available for all budgets and distances
